Routes:
We will try to implement the programme routes as identical as possible. Sometimes it is however necessary, to change the route slightly in case of unforeseen events.

Training:
The Dolomites are probably one of the most demanding and most fascination cycling routes in the world. You have to have certain training prerequisites for participating. Almost all mountain pass roads are over 2,000 metres in height with gradients of up to 20%. We recommend a minimum training of 1,000km prior to your holiday. All tours start and end directly at the hotel.

Equipment and clothing:
As we mentioned before, we start at 1,500 mt. and cycle up to over 2,000 metres above sea level. It is therefore important to bring suitable clothing. Sometimes the descent can be very "cool"…

The bikes should have standard 39-tooth at the front and 27-tooth at the rear. In order to easily manage steep passes we recommend a compact or triple crank. Upon your arrival you will receive a Dolomites Bike jersey. (Please inform us about your size 30 days prior to your arrival.) Wet clothes can be dried in the drying room. You can do your laundry at the local cleaners at local rates.

Bicycle maintenance:
Please make sure your bike is in perfect condition prior to every tour.

• New brake calipers
• If necessary a new chain
• There is the possibility of washing your bike and small repair work in the hotel.

Bicycle security:
The bicycles can be stored in a lockable room. If you prefer you can also store your bike on your room's balcony. (not in the room)

Bike pump:
We have an air pump in the hotel, and extra tubes are an important part of the equipment. And if you are not able to do small repair work yourself, our partner "Break Out" will be at your side.

Helmet:
Helmets are required.

Meals:
Biker's breakfast and gourmet dinner are included in the package. Prior to every tour you will receive a bottle of energy drink.

Cancellation insurance:
Occasionally, something can happen before the start of a trip. With our CANCELLATION INSURANCE you are financially covered. Should a booked stay at a hotel be delayed, or even not taken up or prematurely broken off, cancellation charges can be redeemed in accordance with EU standards. In order to save you any expenses in such cases, we recommend you take out this trip cancellation insurance, with which you are covered by ERV travel insurance.

Accident insurance:
We also recommend an additional private accident insurance.

Airport transfer:
Reserved your privat Dolomites transfer between the airports; Treviso (km.180), Venice (200 Km.) and Innsbruck (120 Km.) to the B.H. Diana. La Villa Altabadia Dolomites.
